The first three female students of BUET

The first three female students of BUET. Up until 1964, girls were not allowed to enroll into BUET and thats when these three ladies filed a case challenging this rule. They won the case and the rest is history.
These little known SheHeroes are (from right to left): Dora Rahman, Monowara and Shirin Sultana (Chumki)

  1. Dora said they didn't file any case, they didn't need to.They went time and again to the authorities, who couldn't show them any reason to bar them legally. So the VC relented at last, and gave in to their plea.
